WE WANT TO SEE JESUS LIFTED HIGH!

17 JUNE marked the close of the latest School of Missions here in Allerheiligen.

It has been an exhilarating 4 and a 1/2 months for the 14 participants. The last 3 weeks of the School have been particularly significant for them as they evangelised in the cities of Leipzig, Erfurt and Freiburg and witnessed the Holy Spirit empowering them to give witness with boldness and God working in the hearts of those they spoke to. Hallelujah!

These 14 very special people have been a great blessing too, for us in the community especially for the youth in our midst. In these young men and women of God, the youth found good Christian role models and cool friends!

The community gathers around the participants to pray for them and to send them out to continue to make Jesus known and loved throughout the world!

The curriculum will be like any ICPE School of Missions but with an added emphasis on WORSHIP, MUSIC, LITURGY.

We want to encourage musicians and worship leaders to grow in their relationship with God and to discover their specific calling as they come closer to Him.

We hope to gather musicians who are looking for a place where they can live out their calling, either as part of the mission or working on projects with the Band of Followers, the mission's worship ministry.

Outreaches during the School will include opportunities to serve in worship leading and ministering through music.

Although there is the added dimension of music and worship, people who are not directly involved in music may also come join the School since the curriculum is essentially a discipleship school.

Calling Bassists! Drummers! Singers!

We are looking for bassists, drummers and singers (especially male singers) who are interested to serve together with us for worship projects.

Of course you must be willing to set aside time to practise with us (pardon me for stating the obvious!).

So, if you are keen (from between "mildly" to "madly"), contact Derek (dchong@icpe.de) to have a chat, find out more. Who knows, we could be worshipping God together in the next project coming up!
