Week 5 - School of Missions

Come Holy Spirit!

It has been an interesting week of stretching and allowing God to demonstrate His power working in us beyond what we can ask or imagine! Participants were prayed over for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and also for the receiving of charisms of the Spirit.

They then had hands-on experience of praying over others and exercising their (for some new-found) gifts. 5 community members came to be prayed over by the participants.

(Ivan, Sieglinde & Jasmin listening to one of their fellow participants share a prophectic word during praying over)

When they were interviewed about the praying over session, our community members shared that many words and images received were meaningful to them and they felt very uplifted. This was very faith-building and encouraging for the participants, especially those moving in these charisms for the first time! Praise the Lord!

While their parents were ministering to the community members, Annemarie and Jacqueline had fun building their Super-hero hideout and inviting their adult friends to visit them, as well as leading them through their "secret tunnel"!

During the week, participants also had the chance to do a study project and give presentations on various aspects of the Holy Spirit including the gifts, charisms and fruit of the Spirit. Their presentations were very refreshing, interactive and all in all, impressive!

Juraj: You cannot package the Holy Spirit!

Stephen and Sharon, now Mr and Mrs Wong, were our special guests from the last School of Missions. We took the opportunity to invite them to share about their experience of God and His miracles during their School. "Allow God to fulfill the desires of your heart! Let Him surprise you through and through!!" was their passionate word of encouragement to the School. They were afterwards surprised with a poster drawn by Annemarie and Jacqueline!

Children's ministry...letting the little ones bring a touch from God above to us!
